Book Description

Ants are, without a doubt, the most ubiquitous insects in nature and in human settlements. Despite their prevalence, however, we know very little about them. This book by Dr. Jacob Ofer provides a peep-hole through which we can observe the wonderful world of ants.

Every species of ant is faithfully depicted in its natural habitat – the story of its life and history — conveyed in clear, flowing, and fascinating language.

Suddenly there is no longer “just an ant” but a whole world; so near, yet, until the appearance of this book, beyond our vision.

Now we are assured an unrestricted and thrilling access to the ant kingdom.

The first page of this extraordinary book opens the door and invites us in.
