Book Description

“My Entebbe” is a personal diary written in Entebbe, where the family was taken captive in the Air France hijacking on June 27, 1976. The pages of the notebook, that were used to write this diary, were intended at the time to be a way of bearing witness to what happened to a whole family that was amongst the captives. It tells of the feelings, thoughts and fears of the mother of the family, Sara Guter Davidson born in Tel Aviv. Sara, with her husband Uzi and her sons, Ron and Benny, embarked on a family trip that turned into a nightmare which ended in an amazing rescue mission by the IDF.

The diary is dedicated to Yoni Netanyahu of blessed memory, to Sorin Hershko who was injured during the mission, to the soldiers of the IDF and to the security forces.
